Gosling, Gordon-Levitt or Skarsgard May Be 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'

With frequent Steven Soderbergh collaborator George Clooney dropping out of the director's big screen adaptation of the 60s TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E., the hunt is on for someone to step into the vacated role of Napoleon Solo ,originally played by Robert Vaughn. While no names have surfaced to replace Clooney, a shortlist has been circulating with the actors desired to play agent Ilya�Kuryakin, another member of U.N.C.L.E (United Network Command for Law Enforcement), first played by David McCallum. Apparently Ryan Gosling, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Alexander Skarsg�rd are on the list.

Much like the original series, the film will be a buddy movie with action and comedy combining in the same fashion as Lethal Weapon, but with a 60's setting.
