Though the adventure comedy Land of the Lost didn't exactly translate to box office success, Sid and Marty Krofft have plenty of TV creations that are ripe for the big screen. We already know and adaptation of H.R. Pufnstuf is in the works, but now another trippy TV show from the Krofft crew is getting the film treatment. Today DreamWorks Animation announced they will adapt the 70's TV series Lidsville into a feature length film with director Conrad Vernon (Monsters vs. Aliens, Shrek 2) at the helm of the project. It will actually be the first attempt at adapting the Krofft brothers' work into an animated feature rather than live-action.
