Satire from Charlie Kaufman and Spike Jonze Has Financing Now

In December of last year we heard that writer Charlie Kaufman and director Spike Jonze, who previously collaborated on Being John Malkovich and Adaptation, would be re-teaming for a secret project that was looking for financing. Now Deadline has word on funding for the project and a fancy logline to give us an idea of what these geniuses of cinema might be up to this time around.� The project is apparently a satire about how world leaders gather to figure out all the big events that will take place in the world, from oil price fluctuation to wars that will be waged. I'm thinking we could have another Dr. Strangelove on our hands.
