She's already had plenty of romantic adventures in New York and Paris in both the Sex and the City films and series, but now Sarah Jessica Parker is taking on an indie comedy which follows romance in both the locations. Variety reports Parker and Marisa Tomei (The Wrestler) will both star in Married and Cheating, a film that follows three married couples struggling to find happiness. Raymond De Felitta, who most recently helmed the overlooked, but mostly enjoyable dysfunctional family comedy City Island is set to write & direct. Apparently the deals are completely done yet, but both actresses are expected to close soon.
Honestly, I don't really pay much attention to Parker's antics anymore after Sex and the City and the absolutely disastrous "comedy" Did You Hear About the Morgans?, so that's not really doing anything for me. As for Tomei, she had a disappointing and incomplete character in Salvation ...
