Not a Joke: Ashton Kutcher to Play Steve Jobs in Indie Biopic 'Jobs'

Yes, we're posting this news on April 1st, and yes it sounds like a big joke, but according to Variety's Jeff Sneider, it's not - it's true. "I will be posting a MAJOR story today that will seem like an April Fool's joke but isn't." Variety is reporting that Ashton Kutcher has been cast as a young Steve Jobs in an indie biopic developing, titled just Jobs. Set to direct is Joshua Michael Stern, of Swing Vote and Carnaval, from a screenplay written by Matt Whiteley. The deal for Jobs' biography came quickly after his passing last year, so it's no surprise to see something like this already moving quickly, though it is an indie project. Read on!
