Jesse Eisenberg, Jake Gyllenhaal in Talks for Now You See Me

Jesse Eisenberg is in talks to star in Now You See Me directed by Louis Leterrier, according to Variety. The magazine also reports that Jake Gyllenhaal might be in talks to appear as well.

The film is based on a crack FBI squad who ends up in a game of cat and mouse with a team of the illusionists.  The team pulls of a series of bank heists during their performances and distributes the profits among the audience.

No word on what role Eisenberg or Gyllenhaal are in talks to play, but it would be awesome to see Eisenberg as one of the illusionists.  He has such a funny deadpan performance style that would work great.

Gyllenhaal meanwhile, would do great as either a member of the FBI or a member of the illusionists.  He's proven himself in both funny and serious roles.

Gyllenhaal just appeared in the sci-fi thriller Source Code and Eisenberg recently received a lot of press for his role as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network.
