The prequel story already has James Franco set up to play a younger version of the infamous Wizard of Oz, and Mila Kunis is playing Theodora, the younger version of the Wicked Witch of the West, but another talent is now joining Oz: The Great and Powerful. Deadline reports Rachel Weisz (The Lovely Bones, The Constant Gardener) is in talks to play Evanora, the meaner, older witch sister of Theodora. While I was apprehensive about a project with ties to a classic like The Wizard of Oz, this cast sounds rather interesting.
