Uma Thurman, John Travolta in Talks for Savages

Former Pulp Fiction co-stars John Travolta and Uma Thurman are said to be in talks to join the Oliver Stone directed flick Savages.  Meanwhile, Blake Lively is also joining the film based on the book by Don Winslow. In the book, two friends from Laguna Beach (already cast Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch) share the same girlfriend (Lively) and a growing pot-distribution business.  When their girlfriend is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel after they resist the group, they must outsmart the cartel and get revenge while at the same time save their girlfriend. According to Deadline, Travolta is set to play Dennis, a DEA agent, and Thurman would play Lively's character O's mom, Pagu. Salma Hayek is also set to star and will play the role of Mexican cartel queen-pin Elena and Benicio Del Toro is playing the cartel enforcer Lado. Savages is scheduled to start filming in July.
