With Peter Jackson returning to helm the two-part adaptation of The Hobbit, plenty of his cast members from the Lord of the Rings trilogy are also slated to head back to Middle Earth. Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett and Orlando Bloom are all said to return (even a minor supporting role has been crafted for Bret McKenzie) and it should be quite the reunion. Well, Peter Jackson recently revealed on his official Facebook page (via TheOneRing.net) that despite the fact that Martin Freeman is playing Bilbo Baggins in the film, Ian Holm will also being playing the older version of the hobbit at some point as well.
