Naomi Watts Lands Desk Job as FBI Secretary for 'J. Edgar' in Biopic

Though the role was once a consideration for Charlize Theron, the actress chose to take the part of the evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman instead of a supporting role in Clint Eastwood's biopic J. Edgar. However, now we have word on what lovely actress end up taking part in the story of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover as Variety reports Naomi Watts has stepped up to fill the gap in the cast. The Australian actress will play Helen Gandy, a Justice Department file clerk who ended up being Hoover?s personal secretary. She loyally worked for Hoover starting in 1918 and stayed in that position until Hoover passed away in 1972.
