Over the last few months, we've started to finally see casting come together on Peter Jackson's The Hobbit, his epic two-part adaptation of the seminal J.R.R. Tolkien classic. Another name to add to the growing list is Saoirse Ronan, the 16-year-old actress who starred in Jackson's The Lovely Bones, as well as Atonement, City of Ember, The Way Back and the upcoming Hanna. The news comes from IFTN (via ComingSoon) as they interviewed casting director Ros Hubbard, who worked on the LOTR and The Hobbit, and revealed that Ronan is joining. "Saoirse's family will go too, everyone is very close and very loving on those sorts of jobs."
It's not official confirmation, but Hubbard doesn't miss a beat when Saoirse Ronan's name is mentioned and even talks about how "it's not like typical studio movies at all" and she's moving down to New Zealand with her family for the filming. That ...
