Katherine Heigl, Jon Bon Jovi & More Celebrating 'New Year's Eve'

Though she was originally set to star in Garry Marshall's first holiday-themed ensemble romantic comedy Valentine's Day, actress Katherine Heigl wanted $3 million for her role in the film. Since that salary would've been higher than any of the other stars in the film (including Julia Roberts), she was left out in the wind. But now apparently she's ready to play ball with Marshall again as Deadline reports Heigl has landed a role in New Year's Eve, the newest holiday ensemble film set to follow intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they�navigate their way through bittersweet drama and romance over the course of New Year's Eve.

Heigl is playin a caterer who encounters her ex-lover at a party, a role that previously belonged to Halle Berry but the actress has dropped out for unknown reasons. In addition, while we were at Sundance last week, ...
