Will Ferrell Desperately Needs to Get His Son into College for 'Crazy U'

Gary Sanchez Productions, the company founded by Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay, is already working on an adaptation of King Dork starring Thomas Mann from Project X, but another comedic adaptation from the comedy banner is on the way. Deadline has word that New Line has bought Crazy U: One Dad's Crash Course in Getting His Kid into College, a story about one dedicated father and his exhausting endeavors to get his son accepted into the perfect college. Not only will Ferrell produce with McKay, but the film is being developed as a starring vehicle for the funnyman to play the obsessive father.
