Visual Effects Artist Tim Miller to Adapt 'Gravel' Comic for Legendary

Despite the fact that the film was a fantastic thriller all around, one of the finer points of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo came from the dark and twisted opening credit sequence, reminiscent of some kind of gothic James Bond opening. The man behind that sequence is Tim Miller and his Blur Studio CG animation studio, a company primarily known for video game cinematics. Previously, Miller had been attached to direct X-Men Origins: Deadpool in April, but nothing new on the project has surfaced since then. Now Deadline reports the visual effects artist is also slated adapt Gravel, the Warren Ellis comic book series.
