'Silver Linings Playbook' Lands Anne Hathaway & Bradley Cooper

Though it seemed like his next project would be the video game adaptation Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, it looks like David O. Russell may line-up another project beforehand. Showbiz 411, the source who initiated the confirmed rumor of Mark Wahlberg leading the aforementioned video game film, reports Russell is looking to direct The Silver Linings Playbook, an adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel of the same name. In addition, it seems Anne Hathaway, fresh off her performance in Love and Other Drugs, has signed on for a role while Bradley Cooper is being lined up for the lead role of� a history teacher recently released from a mental hospital.

When this ex-high school history teacher is released, he ends up being placed in the care of his mother. While he initially plans on winning back his ex-wife, he actually gets caught up in another romance. We'll let Publisher's Weekly explain the story:
