Though we heard that Taken director Pierre Morel might venture into the supernatural with Universal's adaptation of the Ouija "board game," the filmmaker has since moved on to potentially take on the Sam Raimi produced Earth Defense Force. Now we have word that two frontrunners to direct the project with a script from Tron Legacy screenwriters that veers away from the expected horror treatment of the board and moves into action adventure territory akin to National Treasure. Heat Vision says McG (Terminator Salvation) and Breck Eisner (The Crazies) are the two names who are pitching their take on the Hasbro property to the studio.
