Trailer Tuesdays!
RYAN: Pick your poison this week, people - we've got a new rom com, a horror flick and a Disney horse movie.CAROLINE: Only one of them appeals to me, and that's Life As We Know It starring Katherine Heigl and the very hot Josh Duhamel.RYAN: I know how you love a good rom com. And I'm especially interested in this one too, not only because of its stars, but also because of its director, Greg Berlanti. I'm a huge fan of his TV show, Brothers & Sisters. CAROLINE: The trailer is very cute, and even though the premise is ridiculous and implausible, I think the movie has potential. It looks funny and heartwarming at the same time.RYAN: And let's be honest - it'll be worth it just to see Josh Duhamel shirtless for even half a second. Check out the trailer here: CAROLINE: Next up is the based-on-a-true-story Disney movie, Secretariat, about the horse who won the Triple Crown back in the 70s. Are kids really going to be interested in this?RYAN: Honey, Disney doesn't only make movies for children, as I so oft have to remind you. This one stars Diane Lane, and it seems like a biopic about her life with this champion horse.CAROLINE: Zzzzzzzz....RYAN: Yeah, I hear you; it's not like I care a ton about this movie either. But I'm curious to see it because Disney makes great movies and I like Diane Lane.CAROLINE: I like her too, but not in stuff like this. This movie doesn't interest me in the least. It seems so annoyingly earnest. And I already saw Seabiscuit - that was enough.RYAN: Well, I know plenty of people who are psyched for this movie. Watch the trailer here: CAROLINE: Finally, there's a new Wes Craven horror movie, My Soul to Take, which is coming out in 3D. Ick, is all I can say.RYAN: Honestly, Wes Craven movies aren't even scary to me anymore. It's like kiddie horror or something.CAROLINE: This movie is the epitome of something I would hate to watch. I just don't find it fun to see all that goriness and killing.RYAN: I know this type of movie isn't up your alley, but I'd see it for free. Wes Craven is still a horror master and the trailer has some good suspense.CAROLINE: Well, we already know this movie isn't screening for critics, so I doubt either of us is shelling out 13 bucks for it. But I guess it's ushering in the Halloween movies for 2010. Check out the trailer here: Cheeky & Fresh Movie Reviews
