Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg Joining the 'Neighborhood Watch'

At the end of last year we found out that the Jared Stern written comedy Neighborhood Watch (which appeared on the 2009 Black List) had found a new director in Peter Segal (50 First Dates, Tommy Boy). David Dobkin had been attached to direct with Will Ferrell, but both of them have left the project. Heat Vision reports that Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (who both wrote Superbad) are stepping up to rewrite the script about group of suburban fathers who start a neighborhood watch group as a front for some male bonding time away from the family. But of course, the group discovers a sinister plot to destroy the world.

It's unclear if this is a rewrite from the ground up, or if they're simply amping up the comedy. With Rogen and Goldberg now writing, it'd be nice if their friends and collaborators like Jason Segel, Bill Hader and Paul ...
