After finding out only hours ago that Martin Sheen would play wise Uncle Ben in Marc Webb's forthcoming reboot of Spider-Man, and now it looks like we also have some talent for the charming, feisty Aunt May. Heat Vision is reporting that Sally Field (Forrest Gump, "Brothers & Sisters") has been cast as the pivotal supporting character who becomes the only family Peter Parker has left in his life after the tragic death of his Uncle Ben. At least that's how the story played out in the comics and Sam Raimi's adaptation previously, so we can certainly expect Aunt May to become quite a pillar in Peter Parker's crazy superhero life.
