Michael Shannon, Benicio Del Toro, James Franco Set To Star In The Iceman

Michael Shannon, Benicio Del Toro, and James Franco are set to star in The Icemen directed by Ariel Vromend.  The film is based on the book "The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer." It is the true story of Richard Kuklinski (played by Shannon), a notorious mob contract killer and loving family man.  The man would freeze the bodies of his victims in order to disguise the time of death and throw police of their tracks. His family and neighbors thought he was a good family man, and had no idea about his alternate life. Del Toro co-stars as Kuklinski’s employer, the notorious mobster Roy Demeo, and Franco plays his mentor assassin known as Mr. Softee. Sounds like an interesting concept.  Although the mob story has been done a lot in the past.  Wonder what will make this one unique?
